Blanche's secret in A Streetcar Named Desire?

I just watched the movie A Streetcar Named Desire, and I think I must
have missed something, as I still don't know what Blanche's secret
was. Call me dippy, but I can't have really picked up on what they
were getting at. Can anyone help me?
